Presentation | High-Precision, Mass-Produced V-Groove Arrays for Next-Gen High-Density Fiber Integration
Time:2025-09-04
On September 12, 2025, from 9:30 to 12:30 CST, at the EPIC TechWatch at CIOE 2025, Sally Chen, Product Line Manager of the Laser Optics Business Unit at Focuslight, is delivering a presentation titled “High-Precision, Mass-Produced V-Groove Arrays for Next-Gen High-Density Fiber Integration.” In this session, she is sharing the company’s latest advancements in high-precision, mass-produced V-groove technology.

Abstract
This presentation focuses on one of the core components in optical communications — the high-precision multi-channel V-groove. It highlights three key advantages:
- Extreme Precision: Achieving sub-micron positioning tolerance through ultra-precision machining processes, ensuring highly efficient, low-loss optical signal coupling.
- Scalable Manufacturing: Leveraging intelligent production lines to enable large-sca
- le manufacturing, precisely meeting the mass demand of the data communication industry.
- Zero-Defect Control: A 100% full-inspection quality assurance system, in which every V-groove channel of every product is tested to prevent defective products from entering the market.
The report demonstrates process analysis, measured data, and the quality system to underscore the V-groove’s critical value in enhancing optical module performance and reducing system power consumption, highlighting its foundational role in upgrading the data communication industry chain.
